RightChain AI at Work in the American Cancer Society Logistics Center

[Atlanta, Georgia] An oldie, but goody, the ACS logistics center was literally designed by the book; Dr. Frazelle's World-Class Warehousing book to be exact. The book was used as a design instruction manual for the center which won Penton Publishing's Warehouse of the Year Award. The logistics center features RightChain's AI-based slotting, packing optimization algorithms, ergonomic engineering, automated cubing and weighing, ASRS vertical lift modules, pick face picking, automated carton building, intelligent packing, and automated sorting. The design allowed ACS to consolidate a nationwide network of distribution centers and freed many $millions for cancer research.
